Our under 13 team made a start to the Boys West Conference over the weekend, well at least some of them did! Covid cases in the west meant that Greenock were unable to field teams at U18, U16 or U15 level, and it was left to our U13 and U14 teams to travel to Greenock and fly the flag for Dunfermline.
Greenock were also short of numbers at U13 level, so the game was played as a development fixture, with us lending them players to even things up. A good, confidence inspiring performance from our lads, ending up winning the fixture by 8 tries to 2.
