10 try haul for the S1 squad as defence puts up the brick wall.

The S1 squad loved every minute of their return to action after 3 months on the sidelines due to the big freeze and the lack of numbers from the other clubs.

Squad:
Forwards: Lewis Cook, Cal Clarke, Jay Hogg, Thomas Pooley, Kieran Twaddle, John Lymburn and Micheal Cook.

Backs: Aidan Reddick, Jonathan Scott (Capt), Euan Colston, Jackson Moyles, Andrew Waterworth, Harvey Watson, Cameron Shaw, Sean Ramsay and Jenna Scott.

On the trip down to Biggar the boys were holding their breath every time the phone rang or a text came in. Finally we had a game! The last time we played Biggar away we forgot the strips this time we turned up without a single rugby ball, clearly we have been away too long.

With several regulars missing it was a push to put a side on the pitch, this is becoming a habit when we play Biggar away.
When the game started the boys looked right up for it and took the game to the home side at every opportunity. The try's were not long in coming after some nice handling down the centre the ball was moved wide for Harvey to finnish off a fine move.
Thomas picked the ball up in his own half and the home side seemed to back off until Thomas finally drove straight through the gap to add the second,
Jay added the third with a great try which was straight from the training ground,Jonathan finally getting his eye in on the conversions Jackson added the fourth with a good run to finnish off in the corner.

Half time: Biggar 0 V 13 Dunfermline S1

The second half was a chance for new boys John Lymburn and Micheal Cook getting some valuable time on the pitch, both boys done really well.
The try's were coming in thick and fast now with Cameron, Sean R scoring when he ran the lenght of the pitch whilst waiting several times for the Biggar boys to catch him up, Cal scored the 7th after he secured loose ball to drive over the line. Next was Kieran Twaddle who is now getting a taste for scoring adding the 8th with another breakaway try. Cameron Shaw got his second of the day with a great peice of wing play finishing off in the corner. Jay Hogg scored the last try and true to his name he was hogging the ball with Aidan inside screaming for the ball ( well maybe it was the coaches).
The boys have built a good relationship with the Biggar players and the home sides coaches were again full of praise for the Dunfermline style of passing rugby.
Thank to Biggar for todays game.
Well done boys and we now look forwards to Watsonians at home next week.
