Dunfermline got off to a slow start allowing ill discipline to give Whitecraigs a lot of possession and an early lead. This was short lived as Dunfermline went on to dominate the first half scoring 9 tries.
Dunfermline who started with only 15 boys ( Whitecraigs having a full squad of 22) started the second half with an early score but with extra players to rotate it was always going to be closer in the second period. Whitecraigs had the best of the possession for most of the half ands scored 4 tries without letting Dunfermline cross at all. the final 5 minutes saw the home team regain the upper hand to score another 3 times.
