U16 Lose 1/4 Final

A strong Ayr team proved to be just too much for our squad who battle for the full 70 minutes. After the first 10 minutes of constant tackling Ayr had managed to break through the Dunfermline defence only once, this stat seemed to give the Dunfermline boys some self belief and for the remaining 25 minutes of the first half were argueably the better side. The second half started agian with Dunfermline seeing very little of the ball and Ayr continued to pressure into the Dunfermline half. Although it took them 25 minutes to get another score, Dunfermline nevr gave up and with attack in mind a loose pass inside the Ayr half gave away what was to be the final score of the game. Our boys can be very proud of the rugby that they played and hopefully use this to finish the season even stronger.
