Under 16s defeat to Falkirk

The Under 16s had hoped to continue their good form of late in welcoming cup finalists Falkirk to McKane however the boys didnt quite manage to reach the levels of play and intensity we've seen in recent games resulting in a defeat by three tries to nil against a strong Falkirk team.

Falkirk had the edge first half and some sloppy defending allowed the visitors to score three uncoverted tries. Dunfermline were much stronger defensively in second half with Falkirk rarely threatneing their line however the boys themselves did not manage to create enough chances to put pressure on the visitors with much of the game being played out btween the two 22's. Final score 0v15

Thanks to Falkirk for the game and the the catering team for the food afterwards. Next week we welcome a Candadian touring team to McKane with the game being played on the saturday - kick off 11:00
