Dunfy P7 squad played some of their best rugby of the season to win in Crieff for the third succesive year. First up was Glenrothes who had no answer to the way Dunfy were playing final score 5 - 0 Dunfy. 2nd game was a tougher test for the squad Maclaren. With the first game out the way we were now able to move up a gear or two and put together great supporting work and always going forward in defence final score 7 - 0 Dunf.
The third group game was always going to be the toughest one, Perth who the week before had defeated us at our own tournament. hard hitting play from both teams saw the game draW 2- 2, it could easily of been a Dunf win if we hadn't dropped the ball whilst in the act of scoring. Both Dunf and Perth progressed into the semi final.
Dunfermline had to play Ardverk in the semi, a game which we knew would be tough from previous years. After losing the first try the Dunfermline boys again raised the intensity that they were playing at and in the final 6 minutes of play produced 5 tries that were of the very highest quality, Dunf through to the final 5 - 1.
The final against Dundee was again hard hitting but every one of the Dunfermline boys seemed to want this more than their opponents. Dunf win 5 - 0
