We are delighted to announce that, in partnership with Scottish Rugby, Matt Wilson has joined us as a full-time Development Officer. Previously, this role at the club was only part-time.

This is a major step for the club and reflects our ongoing commitment to growing rugby and providing the best experience for all our players, coaches, and members.

Matty brings a wealth of experience to the role. He is our 1st XV captain, our club captain, and U15s head coach, and has been involved in so many areas of the club over the years and has came right through the ranks from minis to seniors. His deep understanding of our players, coaches, and community makes him the perfect person to lead this new chapter.

In his role, Matty will focus on player development, increasing participation across all youth age groups, supporting our coaches, and leading new programs and initiatives designed to strengthen rugby in our community.

Together, Matty and the club have exciting plans in the pipeline—from new initiatives for young players and coaches, to community events, to programs that will benefit all members and the wider community.. This is just the start of some big things to come, so keep your eyes peeled.
