So Proud of our Boys and Girls

Well Mrs H. that wasn't a bad day's work

Just to let you see what I'd written for scores and scorer's.

First game was Light Blues against Mackie, a game that could have seen Caz off injured for the rest of the day but it was just a rest that he needed!
Tries from Connor, Cammy, Ewan Strang(2), Ross and Lewis A. gave us a well deserved 6-3 victory.

Game 2 saw the Dark Blues take on our hosts Crieff. Tries from Angus (3) Ethan (who used his size and speed to great effect to avoid being tackled) and from Jamie Hance gave us a 5-2 victory.

Next was the Light Blues taking on Crieff which was another good game for us though more tries would surely have been up for grabs if the kids were to PASS the ball instead of using the old fashioned stick it up the jumper technique. Tries for Ewan Strang (3) Caz (2), not showing any signs of his earlier injury, and Elliann gave us a 6-2 win.

Up next was the dark blues against Mackie. With Jamie and Angus both volunteering to be on the bench, Mackie soon put a couple of tries on the board before we could get our act together. Fighting all the way to the end the Dark Blues managed to draw the game 5 all, but it did take us a full minute of injury time (from Owens kick to the face) to get the equalizer. Tries from Angus (2) Owen (2) and Declan ("Two Hands" as he is now known) made it a good day's work for both teams.

Crieff against Mackie was a one sided game with Mackie breaking through the Crieff line almost every time they had the ball, though at 4-6 the score suggests it to have been closer.

Then for the main event, Light blue against Dark Blue. Not going to say much but my team won 4-1(editor note here.....WHATEVER!) tries for Jamie Hance (2) Rory and Angus and a consolation for Ewan Strang.

With 13 of the 17 kids getting on the score sheet today, it does show that we must be going in the right direction.

Well done to all the Fairies that turned up!! (for anyone who wasn't there or didn't see the team sheet there is an explanation!)

Stuart i'd like to add a note about the kids attitude and respect today, it was outstanding!! Rory's call for 3 cheers for the referee at the end of our final match just rounded the atmosphere of the day up nicely. Thanks Rory and well done EVERYONE!!

P.S. the coaches aren't bad either even if a bit over competitive! LOL!
