U15s at Boroughmuir 10s

In the last fixture of the season for Dunfermline U15s, we travelled to Meggetland to play a 10s tournament alongside Perthshire, Stirling, Ellon, Hawick, Marr and Boroughmuir.
In our group matches, we had a good opening win against our old friends at Marr, then came very close against Boroughmuir - very unlucky to lose by a single point.
These results gave us a semi final against Hawick, a great game which could have gone either way, but unfortunately went against us by a score of 10 - 12, despite us opening and closing the scoring.
Well done to all the players (Finlay S, Euan, Jai, Aidan, Charlie, Gregor, Kailo, Ruaridh, Duncan, Kian, Logan K, Finlee, Aaron) who adapted well to the demands of 10's (the first time this team has played the format), and while they didn't leave with the silverware, they left with the respect of all our opponents. Hawick, the eventual winners, regarded the game against us as their toughest all day.
